ADDEZ® 118 is designed for using in agricultural chemicals as a higher viscosity suspension agent (Thickener) ADDEZ® 118 is a magnesium aluminum silicate  for water dispersible granules (WDG), pesticide soluble granules (WSG) , has the characteristics of high viscosity and with excellent suspension performance. ADDEZ® 118 can be applied to the water soluble or water emulsion system consisting mainly of pesticides and pesticide and fertilizer formula. ADDEZ® 118 in this kind of system has good rheology, suspension and sedimentation performance, ADDEZ® 118 has excellent adhesion, adsorption, suspension, stability and thixotropy.

Applications
ADDEZ® 118 is a composite aluminum magnesium silicate additives, especially suitable for water based system. ADDEZ® 118 can be used in the agricultural chemicals such as pesticides, fertilizer industry in the emulsion stabilizer and suspended aid. ADDEZ® 118 can form a stable colloidal viscosity; the colloid does not change while temperature changed.
Incorporation
Pre-gel method: ADDEZ® 118 (3%-8% in water ) , prepare the gel by higher dispersion equipment ( 1000-2000rpm speed) for 10-15 minutes. In order to make the ADDEZ® 118 fully formed colloid It is suggested to use the gel after 24 hours;
Directly using Method : If the system has enough water, under high-speed stirring equipment conditions ADDEZ® 118 can be directly added to the product processing, but must be fully water swelling and then add other material, in order to get better results .The amount of ADDEZ® 118 auxiliaries in the agricultural chemicals, depending on the system used by the thickening, flow control, degree of precipitation of the active material, the typical dosage range for the total 0.2 – 3.5%, can be in a normal dose trial, and then optimization.
